This hands-on workshop led by local makers Tom Philipson and Adam Sutherland will guide you through a variety of techniques to make decorative tiles and bricks for outdoor spaces. During the workshop you’ll be taken through the process of designing and cutting lino-patterns, before moulding wet clay into pre-prepared plywood moulds and pressing in your patterns to create decorative surface textures, inlays and prints.
Advance booking essential. Book your tickets through Eventbrite – HERE.
Please Note: All items made during the workshops will require kiln firing which will be done after a four-week drying period and will be available after this for collection from the Coniston Institute.
