Join local artist Karen Guthrie to help refurbish the much-loved Usher Miniature Village, a collection of hand-made model houses created by the late John Usher and sited in the garden of the Ruskin Museum. Guided by the expertise of locals Maureen Fleming & Donald Shepherd –  who have tended the Village for over 25 years – we will be improving the landscaping around the houses, mending dislodged stonework, re-painting windows and doors and generally sprucing up this extraordinary folk art work.

Drop-in, free, materials and tools are provided, and no previous experience is necessary.

Sorry, no unaccompanied children.

This initiative is supported by Grizedale Arts & Arts Council England
