Peter Hodgson: Making, A Life (in the Main Hall)

This first-ever retrospective exhibition of the life and work of local artist Peter Hodgson was curated by Grizedale Arts and toured onwards to Castlefield Gallery (Manchester) and MIMA (Middlesbrough). This selling exhibition included paintings, textiles, engravings, horn and leather work (which Peter also sells via our Honest Shop) and ceramics.
The exhibition also featured Peter’s collaborations with Turner Prize-winning artist Laure Prouvost with a short film by Karen Guthrie & Maria Benjamin and further collaborations with An Endless Supply, Juneau/projects, Tom Phillipson & Joe Hartley.
A new illustrated book on Peter’s work featuring essays by Graham Taylor and Adam Sutherland has been published and is available here.
