Led by artist Rudy Kanhye this series of hands on workshops (aimed at children between 8 and 14) will rethink what we eat, and how we eat it. During the workshops, you’ll contribute to the creation and management of the pop-up What We Eat? Café. You’ll design the Café’s tableware and menus, learn to cook seasonal recipes for the café’s menu and most importantly, get to eat the recipes you cook at the end of each session.
All the workshops will contribute to the ‘The New Mechanics Seasonal Recipe Book’ which will be launched during the pop-up What We Eat? Café on Saturday 5 October in the Coniston Institute’s Reading Room, hosted by all the workshop’s participants in collaboration with Rudy.
If you would like to participate, we ask that you commit to attending at least two of the workshops and the pop-up café event.
