The Coniston Institute is a two hundred capacity hall with a vibrant music programme.

Our main ethos has been to provide a platform for emerging artists in the folk, roots and world genres and also with concerts from established acts.

The concerts are very popular with the local and wider community  being the “go to” social events during the long Winter months. We have had some amazing nights of live music with some dazzling musicianship and vocal performances along with funny stories and laughter.

The Hall is normally set out cabaret style, you can bring your own drinks and snacks and there is always a raffle in aid of local charities.
